We want to buy new everything, so why in the world would we want to talk about buying anything used?

It just seems like a failing thing to do, right? Used cars, maybe, but used engines? That’s just lowering your standards at that point. Used auto parts just sounds like a nice way of saying you went to a junkyard and had to deal with some huckster at a front desk that smells of oil and old hunting dogs.

You don’t want that feeling like you were taken advantage of.

The irony, then, is that you are being taken advantage of every time you go to buy a new vehicle because of a failure in your engine.

The very idea that you need a new car when your engine or your transmission goes out is a myth that’s been perpetrated by the industry. They want to make money off of you – get you into a new car with a financing plan that’s pretty good for the first year, and then gets harder as you carry on.

If the rest of the car is perfectly serviceable, and only the engine or the transmission needs to be replaced, then why do you need to buy a new car? Used auto parts represent a way to sidestep the system and maintain automotive function and financial freedom. And we’d love to be the ones to give that to you.
